SMO Platform — Privacy Policy

SMO Platform — Privacy Policy

Effective date: 9 July 2026  |  Last updated: 9 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the SMO platform (the “Service”, “we”, “us”)
collects, uses, stores, and deletes information when an account owner connects their social media and
advertising accounts to the Service. SMO is a social-media and advertising operations platform that
helps an account owner ingest, analyze, transcribe, curate, and manage their own published content and
advertising across connected platforms (including Meta’s Facebook and Instagram, Meta Ads, YouTube, and
Google Drive).

Operator. SMO is currently operated by Waleed Leghari (the “Operator”). Incorporation
as a private limited liability company in Wyoming, USA is in progress; this policy will be updated to name
the incorporated entity once registered. This is the privacy policy of the SMO platform/application
itself, and is distinct from the privacy policies of any individual business (tenant) that uses SMO.

1. Information we collect

When an account owner authorizes SMO to connect to their accounts, and only to the extent granted, we
access and store:

  • Connection & identity data — OAuth access/refresh tokens, account and page
identifiers, and the profile/handle of the connected Facebook Page, Instagram Business/Creator
account, Meta Ad account, YouTube channel, or Google Drive.
  • Content & media — posts, images, videos, captions, titles, thumbnails, and
similar media the account owner has published on the connected platforms.
  • Metrics & insights — engagement, reach, and performance metrics, and
advertising entities (campaigns, ad sets, ads, creatives) and their statistics, as returned by the
    platforms’ APIs.
  • Data we derive — transcripts, translations, tags, summaries, and analytics the
Service generates from the above to provide its features.

SMO accesses only the data of the account owner who connects their own accounts. It does not collect
data about that business’s end customers, and it is not intended to process data of individuals who are
not the account owner.

2. How we use information

We use the information solely to provide the Service to the account owner who connected the accounts —
namely to ingest and organize their content, produce analytics and transcripts, assist with content
curation, and create and manage their advertising (advertising changes are always prepared for the owner’s
review and are created paused). We do not sell personal information, and we do not use
connected-account data for advertising to third parties.

3. Storage, security & sub-processors

Data is stored in the Service’s database on private server infrastructure, with access restricted to
the Operator and authorized personnel. Data in transit is protected with encryption (HTTPS). To provide
certain features we use a small number of sub-processors, only as needed:

  • Cloud/VPS hosting for the application and database;
  • AI/LLM providers used to generate transcripts, translations, and summaries of the account owner’s
    own content.

4. Data retention & deletion

We retain connected-account data for as long as the account owner keeps their accounts connected to
the Service. The account owner may disconnect a platform or request deletion of their data at any time.
On disconnection or on a verified deletion request, we delete the associated stored content, metrics,
tokens, and derived data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Data deletion requests: to request deletion of your data, email the address in the
Contact section below with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and the connected account(s) concerned.

5. Your rights

The account owner may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data SMO holds about their
connected accounts by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable period.

6. Platform compliance

SMO’s use of information received from Meta, Google/YouTube, and other platforms complies with those
platforms’ developer terms and policies, including limited-use requirements. Data obtained via a platform
is used only to provide the Service’s features to the connecting account owner.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service and its operating entity evolve (including on incorporation of
the Wyoming LLC and migration to a dedicated product domain). Material changes will be reflected by
updating the “Last updated” date above.

8. Contact

Questions or requests regarding this policy or your data: [email protected].

Note: SMO is currently in limited operation for the Operator’s own accounts. This interim policy is
hosted temporarily and will move to the SMO product domain once registered.
